Ramdas Kadavallur
RAMDAS KADAVALLUR is a film maker from Kerala, India and also the founding member of Clone Cinema Alternative, an independent film organization based in Delhi. Started his career as a journalist in Malayala Manorama, a leading newspaper in India publishing in a regional language, he also worked as news reader in All India Radio, Delhi, the national radio channel of the country. A Post Graduate in Mathematics, he later completed his post graduate diploma in Mass Communication. He has authored a book on gender inequalities , penned several articles on human rights issues , and also assisted several documentary film projects. ‘Mannu : Sprouts of Endurance’ , a feature length documentary about the women worker’s struggle in Munnar , is his debut film as director.
